Wireless Label Printer
Why does X1040 fail a 300-dpi small-barcode requirement even though it handles roll and fanfold labels?
See the source evidence ↓This verdict is for the same fixed task: 300 dpi, network + USB, Windows + macOS, and both roll + fanfold. A fail here is not a judgment that the printer is bad for every job.

Price review stale Cost basis: 2026-09-03
No additional required accessory is priced in this audit. Labels and optional accessories are not included.
The setup cost is known, but the task still fails the 300-dpi condition.
Excludes tax, shipping, consumables and paid software. A known cost does not mean the setup passes the task.
Check the supporting cost claims ↓OS support means documented support, not a guarantee for every current release. Verify the exact OS version, driver and platform print workflow. Physical feed support does not prove calibration, adhesive suitability or barcode scan rates.
X1040 supports Wi-Fi, USB, Windows, macOS, roll media, and fanfold media.
The exact X1040 model is 203 dpi, not 300 dpi.
Rollo displayed a $279.99 add-to-cart offer on the audit date.
203 dpi is not automatically unsuitable for shipping labels. This page rejects X1040 only because 300 dpi is a fixed requirement in this task. Actual barcode readability depends on size, media and scanning conditions and has not been tested here.

A changed source triggers a new audit; it does not update this frozen snapshot automatically.
This is a dated public-page audit, not hands-on testing or a complete market survey. A seller’s Add to Cart button is a listing signal, not verified stock or checkout.
Evidence dates are not page-edit dates. Hardware retains the conservative 2026-08-26 baseline; body and holder offers were rechecked 2026-09-03. Every claim, seller quote and accessory has its own date. Setup estimates use the oldest component date. Offer evidence expires after 7 days. A public release requires a new check within 72 hours. OS/driver evidence expires after 30 days; hardware after 90.
Our sources & corrections policy explains how updates are recorded: exact SKU, source URL, date and changed claim. This site does not collect public submissions. We show conflicts instead of choosing the convenient version.
