Which blades and adapters fit a Makita DTM52 multi-tool?
Separate direct factory-supported fit from third-party physical-fit claims. “Universal oscillating blade” is not a mount specification.

Use Starlock, Starlock Plus or Starlock Max accessories directly. Ordinary OIS blades do not direct-fit the DTM52.
Makita’s current DTM52 product page and instruction manual name all three Starlock tiers. The manual’s supported-tool table does not list OIS for this model, and Makita does not publish an approved OIS-adapter route. Do ordinary OIS blades fit the DTM52 directly?
No direct-fit route is shown in Makita’s DTM52 supported-tool table. The manufacturer-listed direct-fit families are Starlock, Starlock Plus and Starlock Max.
Can an adapter make an OIS blade fit?
